Today's project is the tam from Beverly Royce's "Notes on Double Knitting"

Even after felting it's too big but Ana doesn't care.

Couldn't get over how ugly that Triangle Turban turned out so I did it again, this time with straight needles.

Here are two finished "Divided Triangle Neckpieces"

Same number of stitches, different gauge.

Starting a new project - to knit through "Number Knitting" by Virginia Woods Bellamy

It'll probably take a year or two ...

This is the Triangle Turban (knitted as a right triangle) which doesn't look like the triangle in her book.

to be continued ...

Reversible hat knitted in the round. One side is icelandic brown wool and the other is a wool & silk blend with Elizabeth Zimmermann's gull pattern.

Wool hat knitted in the round. Doggy pattern found in Sheila McGregor's Traditional Scandinavian Knitting.

Triangular shawl done with I-don't-know-what yarn from stash. VERY silky. Trimmed with scrap wool. And appropriated by daughter.

Another wool hat knitted in the round and shrunk/felted too small for anything but a guinea pig.

Took some VERY thick rug-type wool yarn and knitted it into a couple of HUGE socks and then shrunk them to size -- just big enough for daughter's guinea pigs.
